1. Who we are

This policy explains how Supply Chain Junction handles personal information collected through www.scjunction.com, including its regional pages (the "website"), and when you contact us.

Two companies use the Supply Chain Junction name. The one responsible for your information depends on where you are:

• Supply Chain Junction (Pty) Ltd handles enquiries from South Africa and other African countries. Registration number 2018/247741/07. Registered office: 1st Floor, Gateway West, 22 Magwa Crescent, Midrand, 2066, Gauteng, South Africa.
• Computio Software Trading LLC operates the website and handles all other enquiries. It is licensed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism under commercial licence number 821191. Registered address: Office 2101-14, Trade Centre First, Bur Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean the company responsible for your information.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you complete a form, book a meeting, use our chat or email us, we collect your name, job title, company, business email address, phone number, country and anything you write in your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, we collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you reached the website and how long you stay. We do this with cookies and similar technologies (section 5). From an IP address, a service we use can identify the company network a visit comes from, such as its name, industry and size. It does not identify you personally.

Information from others. We may receive your business contact details from someone who refers you to us, from events, or from professional networks such as LinkedIn.

The website is for businesses. Please do not send us sensitive personal information, such as information about your health, religion or beliefs.

3. How we use it

We do not sell personal information. We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Marketing emails

We send marketing emails only with your consent, or to clients about services like those they already use. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email info@scjunction.com to stop them.

5. Cookies

When you first visit the website, a banner asks for your choice. Necessary cookies are always on, because the website needs them. Analytics, advertising and functional cookies are used only if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.

6. Who we share it with

• Our two companies, so that the right team can respond to you and serve you.
• Service providers that act for us under contract and may use the information only to provide their service to us: HubSpot (CRM, forms, email, meetings and chat), Microsoft (email and documents), Google (analytics and advertising) and LinkedIn (advertising).
• Manhattan Associates, only if your enquiry is about Manhattan software and you agree.
• Authorities and professional advisers, where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
• A buyer or successor, if all or part of our business is sold or reorganised, on the terms of this policy.

7. Transfers to other countries

Our CRM is hosted by HubSpot in the European Union, in Germany. Our staff in South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and India can access it to respond to you. Some service providers, including HubSpot, Google, Microsoft and LinkedIn, may also process information in the United States and other countries.

Your information may therefore leave the country you are in. When it does, we rely on one of these:

• the recipient is bound by a law, binding corporate rules or a contract that gives protection substantially similar to your own country's law, such as HubSpot's data processing agreement and the EU data protection law that applies where the CRM is hosted;
• you have consented to the transfer; or
• the transfer is needed to respond to your request or to perform a contract with you or for your benefit.

For South African visitors, these are the grounds in section 72 of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). For visitors in the United Arab Emirates, the Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) applies; for visitors in Saudi Arabia, the Personal Data Protection Law and its regulations on transfers outside the Kingdom.

8. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in section 3 or as the law requires. Contact records with no engagement for three years are deleted or anonymised, unless the contact is a client.

9. Security

Only staff who need personal information can access it. Our service providers protect it with measures such as encryption and access controls. No transfer over the internet is completely secure. If a breach is likely to harm you, we will tell you and the regulator where the law requires.

10. Your rights

Depending on the law of your country, you can ask us to:

• confirm whether we hold personal information about you and give you a copy;
• correct or update it;
• delete it;
• stop using it, including for direct marketing, which you can stop at any time; and
• withdraw any consent you have given.

To make a request, email info@scjunction.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We may need to confirm your identity first. We aim to reply within 30 days.

You can also complain to a regulator. In South Africa, that is the Information Regulator (www.inforegulator.org.za). Elsewhere, it is the data protection authority in your country. We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.

11. Children

The website is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.

12. Other websites

The website links to websites run by others. Their own privacy policies apply.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will say so on the website.
